With head office in Vancouver and distribution centers throughout North America, this leading importer of specialty wood products sources quality products from global markets such as Asia, South America and Russia.
Reporting to the Office Manager and working closely with the sales group and other sales support members, the incumbent will assist with:
- Logistical processing of customer orders including coordination with vendors, customer service representatives, warehouses and shippers
- Data entry of purchases orders; costing of purchases; export documentation; general office support
Candidates will have successful experience in an office and sales support role and thrive in a service oriented culture to customers, suppliers and other staff.
While not essential it will be advantageous to have prior experience with importing of commercial products.
