Description

C&C Resources Inc. is launching a new specialty wood products plant in Cranbrook, British Columbia.  The plant will produce exterior siding and trim products using finger-joint and edge-gluing operations.  Initially the plant will employ about 20 persons per shift.  Start-up will be during first quarter of 2019.

Reporting to the C&C head office in Quesnel, British Columbia, the Plant Manager will be responsible for all aspects of plant operation including technical direction.  During initial phases, the Manager will be assisted by C&C Quesnel staff in plant set-up; employee hiring and training; and logistics.

Interested persons should have supervisory experience in specialty wood products manufacturing and technical qualifications relating to finger-jointing.  Knowledge of edge-gluing will be an asset.

Surrounded by world class scenery, recreation and wildlife, Cranbrook is a thriving city of 20,000 in southeast British Columbia close to the US and Alberta borders.  It is nestled in a broad open valley between the Rocky Mountains to the east and the Purcell Mountains to the west.  Mild winters and warm sunny summers characterize this beautiful mountain environment.  It is served with an international airport, large regional hospital, post-secondary educational facilities and reasonably priced housing.
