Reporting to the Production Superintendent, the Production Supervisor provides leadership to production employees to assist them in making outstanding contributions:

  • Train and supervise adherence of safety procedures, job duties and company policies
  • Initiate and develop a success-oriented employee attitude that encourages on-going performance improvement
  • Resolve work issues, provide technical advice and direct measures to improve safety, productivity and product quality
  • Ensure systems and equipment are operating efficiently and maintenance scheduling is current

Preferred Candidate Qualifications / Attributes:

  • A successful career record of supervision in lumber remanufacturing / value-added and/or sawmill operations
  • A quality focus able to foster a culture of safety, innovation and proactivity
  • A fair and caring attitude to employees’ issues, concerns and ideas

Full benefit package and remuneration above $80,000.
