Due to a pending retirement, Watkins has a career opportunity for a Shipping and Receiving Manager. You will be part of a dedicated team who are passionate about the quality products they produce and the customer service they provide each and every day. Your responsibility will cover all divisions of the company including kiln drying, fire safety treatment and painting services provided for other wood products manufacturers.
While a successful career in shipping and receiving will be the principal candidate requirement, we are seeking a person who can initiate new ideas and systems into this department. Ideally you will have a knowledge of lumber grades; mobile equipment operational experience; inventory management exposure; exceptional customer service orientation; and an enhanced detail orientation.
You will operate from Watkins head office and main manufacturing site at Maple Ridge, British Columbia which is within proximity to most areas within the Lower Mainland and the Fraser Valley.
