A leading manufacturer of outstanding quality coastal lumber and specialty wood products has an opportunity for a Logistics Manager. Working closely with the sales group and shipping personnel, the Logistics Manager will manage all transportation functions for two sawmill / value-added mills producing a wide variety of Western Red Cedar and Pacific Hem-Fir commodities and specialties. While the US and local are the major focus markets, the company plans to increase direct sales to offshore markets as well.
Candidates will have logistics experience in the Canadian and US markets and preferably to Pacific Rim offshore markets. Experience with lumber products is necessary.
The Logistics Manager will operate from offices in the Maple Ridge area which can be easily accessed from most Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley locations.
Remuneration will be salary based together with a full benefit program.
